Messages of support: Stand against hate
In the face of racist violence, show torture survivors that they are not alone.
Across the UK, people who have fled torture and war have been facing a new threat. These past couple of weeks, thousands of people have been living in fear of far-right violence and intimidation.
We must make it clear that a hateful minority do not represent this country. The vast majority of us believe in welcome and compassion. So why not write a message to the survivors we support?
It’s time to raise our voices and drown out the hate. Join us and show survivors that they are not alone.
In less than a week, you have sent over 2,500 messages of solidarity to survivors of torture!
You’ve shown that the majority of us stand with refugees, united. Together, we oppose all forms of hatred and violence, and prove that we want this country to be a place of sanctuary.

The torture survivors we work with – some living in hotels like the ones attacked last week – need our support.
It’s up to all of us to stand against this hatred. Our communities are so much stronger than those who try to divide us.
Write a message and show survivors of torture that they are not alone.
