Funeral collection

You may prefer to ask friends and relatives to make a donation in lieu of flowers, at your loved one’s funeral service, to support the work of Freedom from Torture.

Giving a gift is a meaningful tribute to the life of someone special, and a fitting way to honour their memory.

We understand that some funeral directors are not collecting cash donations at present, so if people wish to give in other ways here are some options below. You can collect donations or ask people to donate individually.

Please ask anyone who donates online to use the name of the deceased person as a reference, preceded by ‘In memory’.

Funeral Donation envelopes

You may wish to order our specially designed donation envelopes to pass on to family and friends, or hand out on the day of the service where possible. Each donation can be gift aided if applicable, to increase the value of the donation to the charity by 25%.
